Location: Conway, Arkansas
Drilling rigs are located in various areas in Arkansas plus other states.

Work schedule is equal time - 7 days on 7 days off or 14 days on 14 days off with rotating days and nights and at various locations throughout Southwestern Energy's operating area.


Job Duties:

Performs various manual labor tasks throughout the rig site under the supervision of the driller.

Performs general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components.

 Lift and carry heavy equipment, tools and supplies.

 Works with other crew members on the rig to perform tasks as required by the operational situation.

 Assists the (Assistant Driller) Derrickman with mud-mixing duties.

Work is normally performed out-of-doors, where exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, fumes, and gases are frequent. Exposure to noise, vibration, high pressure, moving/mechanic parts, electrical, chemical and caustic materials is common in the normal performance of the duties associated with this position.

Minimum training requirements: mandatory attendance of the HS&E Orientation provided by the company prior to starting field duties.

this position is one of the oil rig jobs with no experience at all,the main duties include general upkeep and cleansing of deck area of rig. Also painting.

Materials man/woman

Responsible for the maintenance of the stores and stock ordering and receiving.

Must be computer literate. One drawback of this comfortable job is that on smaller rigs with only one store person they sometimes have to get up at all hours to check the cargo coming off the boat.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Unloads equipment

Cleans the generator, store, and pump rooms, the pipe rack, key way, railways, stairways, and walkways.

      Chips paint and buffs it, occasionally relieves the roughneck on the floor, puts pipe on catwalks

    V-door (lay down pipe), greases the crane, assists the service hands in rigging up tools, and performs daily inspection of BOP equipment.

Loads and unloads supplies and equipment from boats during rough or calm seas, monitors trash compactor, and works in pump room.

     Fuels the rig, monitors hole fill-ups while pulling out of hole, lining up trip tank, measures pipe, and ensures all safety and riding belts to make sure they are in good condition.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

       Must possess the training and experience necessary to perform the functions of the job as shown above.

        Prefer a High School diploma or equivalent.
